Open World

Moving into development of the vertical slice, it was decided to have a larger open world to connect battle encounters, I spent the first week concepting what this could look like.

Homebase

I wanted to start with a simple scene, Started really bringing the angular shapes subtly into the design of everything this helped to make the props feel less generic even when the texturing style is so minimal. Took quite a while to work out the quirks in unitys baked lighting system, tried out bakery but found that it was overkill for this project.
